Rojen leta 1992, živim v Mengšu. Dedek je bil ljubiteljski fotograf in jaz sem bil navdušen nad njegovim Polaroidom. V otroških letih je bil aparat za enkratno uporabo pogosto in najljubše darilo.

Sledilo je obdobje navdušenja nad photoshopom, s katerim sem se spoznal v trinajstem letu starosti. Konec gimnazije sem se začel resneje ukvarajti s samo fotografijo, med študijem (Biotehniška fakulteta, krajinska arhitektura) pa se je hobi počasi prelevil v poklic. Mentorirala sta me dobra prijatelja, ki sta po izobrazbi fotografa (Nejc Trampuž ALUO in Jernej Čemas IAM). Magistriral sem z nalogo “Prezentacijska fotografija oblikovane krajine”, po koncu študija, pa sem odprl samostojno podjetje (2018). Po dveh letih samostojne poti, sem se za 22 mesecev pridružil ekipi manjše produkcije (WakeUp Creation), kjer sem opravljal vlogo vodilnega fotografa. V sklopu tega, sem tudi mentoriral mlajše študente, ki so opravljali prakso. Januarja 2022 sem se znova podal na samostojno pot.

V fotografiji strmim k preprostosti in minimalizmu, rad imam jasne in urejene kadre. Zelo uživam, kadar je celoten kader kontroliran (produkcijska in studijska fotografija). Na drugi strani sem dober v lovljenju popolnoma spontanih trenutkov, takrat s fotografijo skušam komunicirati vzdušje in čustva danega trenutka. Imam zanimivo pozornost za detajle. Več mojih fotografij je uporabljenih kot naslovnice knjig ali glasbenih albumov.

Born in 1992 and based in Mengeš, Slovenia. My journey with photography started early; my grandfather was an amateur photographer, and I was fascinated by his Polaroid camera. As a child, a disposable camera was often my favorite gift.

This was followed by a fascination with Photoshop, which I started exploring at the age of thirteen. Towards the end of high school, I began taking photography more seriously. During my studies at the Biotechnical Faculty (Landscape Architecture), what started as a hobby slowly evolved into a profession. I was mentored by two close friends and professional photographers, Nejc Trampuž (ALUO) and Jernej Čemas (IAM). I earned my Master’s degree with a thesis titled “Presentation Photography of Designed Landscapes” and launched my independent business in 2018. After two years on my own, I spent 22 months as the Lead Photographer at a boutique production house (WakeUp Creation), where I also mentored students during their internships. In January 2022, I returned to my independent path.

In my work, I strive for simplicity and minimalism, with a love for clean and organized compositions. I truly enjoy the precision of controlled environments, such as production and studio photography. On the other hand, I excel at capturing completely spontaneous moments, using photography to communicate the atmosphere and emotions of the scene. I have a keen eye for detail, and several of my photographs have been featured as book covers and music album art.
